Canadian Design Resource

My dad was a freestyle wrestler in the 1972 Olympic games in Munich as well as the 1976 Olympic games in Montreal. On top of that, both my parents were born and raised in Montreal (Rosemont represent). And so I feel quite a bit of nostalgic connection to that whole era. The image above was what I was googling for when I came across this wonderful website. I was looking for a 76 adidas tracksuit. I know my dad had one but it’s long since dissapeared.
Canadians are not traditionally known for being very design savy but The Canadian Design Resource proves that there has been exceptional work done over the years. And while you can tradtionally find books on design meccas such as Sweden and Holland, finding material on Canadian design can be somewhat difficult (until now).
